Arriving to St. Vincent

St. Vincent’s main airport currently* is E. T. Joshua (SVD) Airport in Arnos Vale. This airport does not currently service direct international flights, but it does service incoming and outgoing flights to and from other Caribbean destinations through LIAT.

The major gateways to St. Vincent & The Grenadines from North America and Europe are Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad, St. Lucia, Martinique and Puerto Rico, with connecting flights to Bequia, Canouan, Mustique and Union Island.

*St. Vincent is currently building a brand new international airport. The completion of this airport means that there will be direct flights to St. Vincent in the future. The new international airport is known as Argyle International Airport (AIA) situated on the Eastern side of the island in Argyle. Its’ estimated completion is by the end of 2015. Entry Requirements

Visitors to St. Vincent & The Grenadines must be in possession of a valid passport and a return or onward ticket. Visas are required from nationals of The Dominican Republic, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, The People’s Republic of China, Iraq, Iran and Nigeria.

For Family Member/ Friends traveling with you: All visitors are normally granted a four week stay by Immigration. To further extend this duration, visitors need to seek approval from the Immigration Department, along with payment of an extension fee of EC$25 per person.

Immigration Standards for students: 

All documents will be collected by the campus manager along with an immigration fee of $25 EC for one year temporary residency “student” visa.

Immigration will not accept any applications directly from students. Applications must be submitted directly by the school.
